Bieber Shows his Sensitive Side; Suarez Hungry for More

Bieber Attracts Criticism… Again

It has been a tough couple of months for Canadian star Justin Bieber. The 19-year-old drew huge criticism for a misguided comment he left in the guestbook at the Anne Frank museum in Holland.

Before that he had been criticised for showing up late to shows, attacking photographers and generally behaving like a spoilt teenager – makes sense.

The singer has usually been guided along the straight and narrow by his family, with whom he is said to be very close – unless you are his grandfather, of course.

Despite his luxury lifestyle and lavishing out gifts to his celebrity friends, Bieber has apparently forgotten about his 61-year-old grandfather who lives in a squalid log cabin in Mitchell, Canada.

According to a report this week, George Bieber is too destitute to fix the gaping hole in the cabin’s roof after a tree fell on it and describes his grandson as “too big for his britches.”

“It’s hard to imagine the money Justin has, as it’s about as far removed from our life as you could get,” George Bieber said.

“Justin might be worth £70million but we certainly have never seen a penny of it.”

Is Luis Suarez the Hungriest Footballer in the Game?

Perhaps it wasn’t the result Chelsea fans were expecting this weekend as they drew 2-2 with Liverpool.

They almost certainly weren’t anticipating an incident in the 75th minute when Liverpool’s controversial striker Luis Suarez bit Branislav Ivanovic’s arm in full view of all the cameras.

Suarez later phoned Ivanovic to apologise, but the salt was already rubbed in the wound when Suarez, who was not booked for the incident, scored a last minute equaliser against Chelsea who was leading 2-1.

Impressively, it wasn’t even the first time that the Uruguayan had come under fire for biting opponents on the pitch. Playing in Holland back in 2010, Suarez was dubbed “The Cannibal of Ajax” after gnawing on the shoulder of PSV Eindhoven’s Otman Bakkal. He was banned for seven matches.

The FA in England are currently investigating footage, however, the referee at the time claimed not have seen the incident, despite the fact that the ball had only just been kicked away.

Perhaps the most amusing part of the whole charade was that within minutes of the incident, he was followed on Twitter by none other than boxer Mike Tyson – a man with a something of track record for ear-biting.
