Lindsay Lohan Gets 90 Days Rehab; Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn Make it Facebook Official

Lindsay Lohan Gets 90 Days Rehab

Evidently the (very expensive) efforts of Charlie Sheen haven’t paid off. Lindsay Lohan has been ordered by a court to spend 90 days ‘locked in’ at a drug rehabilitation facility as part of a plea deal to settle criminal charges against her.

The 26-year-old actress pleaded no contest to two charges relating to a traffic accident last summer, nor did she challenge the finding that the incident had violated her earlier probation for shoplifting.

“A suggestion – don’t drive” was the advice offered to the former Disney star by Judge James Dabney.

Yet TMZ reports that Lindsay didn’t so much accept the rehab time as choose it over an alternative shorter stint in jail.

Sources say she is terrified of spending time in prison and, although she claims not to have a drug problem, she says the time locked inside a relatively ‘comfortable’ environment will mean she can concentrate on herself without the distractions of… being in prison.

Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn Make it Facebook Official

Well, this came as a surprise. Tiger Woods, rumoured for some time to have been getting back together with his wife has surprised the world this week by announcing, on Facebook, that he has been dating U.S. Olympic skiing champion Lindsey Vonn.

“This season has been great so far and I’m happy with my wins at Torrey and Doral,” Tiger wrote in the post.

“Something nice that’s happened off the course was meeting Lindsey Vonn. Lindsey and I have been friends for some time, but over the last few months we have become very close and are now dating.”

He then posted the first pictures of them together, presumably in order to pre-empt the lucrative ‘first shot’ from the paparazzi of the couple with their guard down together.

After the highly publicised breakdown of his marriage in 2009 and then his career, 37-year-old Woods has since begun to rebuild his golfing form and ingratiate himself with the press who hounded him previously.

“We thank you for your support and for respecting our privacy. We want to continue our relationship, privately, as an ordinary couple and continue to compete as athletes.”
