If it it thawed then it can be left out at room temperature for around 2 hours only and if it is refrigerated then it is only 24 hours. What you need to know and remember is never refreeze breast milk after thawing it. 

If there is left over milk, the leftover milk must be consumed within 2 hours or it should be disposed of. 

Are the milk storage bags reusable? 

Short answer is no. It is advisable and encouraged that you do not reuse the bag this is to avoid any contamination of your baby’s next feed. If it is contaminated, it might be a very serious risk so it is advised and strongly encouraged that you do not reuse the bags. Furthermore, if you buy the storage bag packs, they normally come in 25, 50 and 100 bag quantities so there is no need to reuse from the beginning.
