Michael Jackson Feared Assissination; Mary J. Blige Lives the Bankrupcy Life

Michael Jackson Feared He Was Going to be Shot on Stage

Showbiz trials are usually expensive undertakings, but even Anwar’s RM100 million defamation suits pale into insignificance compared to the RM 80 billion civil case about to kick off in Los Angeles.

The family of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, is seeking the sum in damages from tour promoter AEG Live for his wrongful death.

But on the eve of the trial it has emerged that Michael was afraid of being shot during his stage performance, moving the show from the United States to the United Kingdom.

According to a witness, Jackson even said his goodbyes to his friends and some family.

Jackson’s family is accusing the promoter of being neglectful by hiring Dr. Conrad Murray, the doctor serving a four-year jail sentence for involuntary manslaughter after giving the singer an overdose of sedatives in June 2009.

The case is expected to last at least three months.

Mary J. Blige Takes Her Mind off Financial Woes

Mary J. Blige isn’t letting a little thing like financial ruin stop her from taking a nice long break in the Caribbean sun.

As the 42-year-old cash-strapped R&B; icon was photographed strolling along the beach, she was presumably trying to take her mind off of the RM2.7 million tax lien that she was hit with earlier this year.

As she snoozed in a hammock, perhaps she was trying to forget about defaulting on the RM 6 million in bank loans in 2012.

And as she ate an al fresco dinner underneath the stars, presumably Mary was putting the RM 770,000 loan that her charity was sued for out of mind.

Jetting down to Puerto not-so Rico over the weekend has hopefully distracted her mind from pressing financial woes.
